  • One of the top 10 big man in the nation, at the beginning of the season of 1986
  • Iowa State University men’s basketball all-time leader in block shots
  • National NCAA basketball tournament MVP ( 1986 ), on CBS vs. Michigan University and on ESPN,vs North Carolina University
  • NBA, draft by the Dallas Mavericks, 1987
  • Played professional basketball in Europe, Asia, and South America, for eight years
  • Became the first executive director of Boys & Girls Club, in LaPorte county. Increased membership, by 400% in three years. Generated $ 1.5 million dollars in additional funds.
  • Created the nations largest 3on3 basketball tournament fundraising event (Slamming Sam’s, 3 on 3 by the lake ), for Boys & Girls Clubs
  • Co- founder of Making A Difference Everywhere (M.A.D.E.) youth organization
  • COO of Kirby Rehabilitation substance abuse agency
  • Co-founder of Growing And Advancing People For Success ( G.A.P.S. )
